Novelty seeking may be triggered by Reward Prediction Error (RPE). much support has accumulated for an association between novelty seeking (Cloninger et al., 1994[1]) and dopaminergic activity (see e.g. Savitz and Ramesar, 2004 for a review[2]). Adolescent with conduct disorder (aggressive disorder) had lower activation of the ACC, lower sociomoral judgment and higher need for novelty seeking[3].
