Anger is relate positively to the amygdala. It seems that people with higher scores in anxiety scale, are more suspitable to anger and amygdala reactivity, in men but not in women. It further suggest that heightened amygdala reactivity to angry faces may be uniquely involved in the expression of reactive aggression in men[1].
