New ideas may come on different MONs or SONs.

A person in a group, may have the same SON as most of the group have, yet he sees other options.

A person in a group may have different MON then the group SON, and thou, may see other options then those of the group.

In order to convince a group, the person need to adjust his MON to the group SON. This may take time and effort. So it may be easier to start a new team that will create new SON. The new group, after showing it's success, or make better corroborated SON, will be able to convince other groups to adjust their SONs.
